A Documentarian For A Time

Tim Dorsch and myself are documentarians…

Tim and I 2

Some might say “mockumentarians” Yeah, well who isn’t?! We had a lot of footage, but this is one afternoon we had some time to kill and this is us just messing around in front of the camera. We improv… we off the cuff… we just messin’! Maybe you mess-in your pants because you be all like, “Whoa, that be improv?! Where is the bathroom? I just shit myself…. Wait, forget the bathroom, yo. Where is the washing machine? Because once again I just shit myself.” And then you all be like, “I can’t wash my panties!!! Yo, I just shit myself and e’reyone knows. Where’s daddy’s gun closet ’cause I need to paint my wall with brains! I just shit myself and this improv is tight!”

Time and I

Also, Tim is a director who idolizes Rob Reiner in the movie “Spinal Tap” which he believes to be a real documentary. My character is a drug addict who is looking to party with anyone and everyone. Doing this character by the way is where my Twitter handle came from: @GJPARTYDRUGS

Something that starts out as a joke becomes my life. This is a common theme with my life.

Hopefully you enjoy it…

LET’S GET TO IT!

1) LET’S GET TO IT!

The documentarians from Canada are back… and this time Tim feels the term “Action” is hack. So he has come up with “Let’s Get To It!”
The lovely film maker Dave Gallardo joins for a moment.

2) CUT IS THE LAST THING

The documentary film makers are back, and this time Tim has to explain the order of “lights, camera, sound, action and cut” Garrett is stoned and has no idea what is going on…

3) MISSING DOG

The documentarians are dealing with sad news. Garrett is feeling down and Tim puts the project on hold to deal with the issue, but ends up confused by the whole thing.

4) SPEEDING CAMERA

The documentary film makers are back again setting up for an interview.
Tim is trying to capitalize on the lighting, sound and the “speeding” cameras. “One thing I learned in school is, “you never do is doubt the director.” -Tim

5) MISSING SLATE

The documentarians from Canada are having a tough time because… well the “slate” can’t be found. No wonder their documentaries are such a disaster.
